The second advent of the messiah as prophecised and hinted towards in several mainstream religions such as Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, etc. has been fuflilled in the person of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad of Qadian! He calimed, under divine guidance, that he was indeed the promised reformer of the latter age and founded the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in 1889. One of the clear proofs for his truthfullness were the solar and lunar eclipses that occurred in 1894 and 1895 which were also prophecised as a sign for the promised reformer.
